Loss & Prevention Security Officer

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Security, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Maintaining the safety and security of the hotel, guest and team members and their property by providing constant vigilance in and around the resort's premises
• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
• Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
• Acting promptly to any event/circumstances that requires attention
• Ensuring inspections of the resort premises are done on a routine basis
• Ensuring all firefighting equipment requirements are met and maintained
• Assisting management with any incidents that arise on property
• Assisting with reporting on team member and guest incidents and accidents

Shift: Flexible

Day(s) Required: FLEXIBLE including Holidays and Weekends

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year of Security Officer experience
• Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality is a plus
• Extensive knowledge of safety
• First aid and CPR certified
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
