Practice Hospitality is seeking a great team member in the capacity of Associate Director of Sales & Marketing to join the team at the Hilton Dallas Park Cities, the most beloved hotel in Dallas’ affluent Park Cities neighborhood.

Job Role

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by developing and implementing strategic sales plans, cultivating key client relationships, and collaborating with internal departments to deliver exceptional service and exceed business goals

Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with hotel revenue goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, and networking with potential corporate, group, and transient clients.
  • Drive revenue growth by focusing on group sales, corporate accounts, and catering sales segments.
  • Oversee the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and reports, providing data-driven insights to optimize performance.
  • Participate in revenue management meetings to collaborate on pricing strategies, occupancy forecasts, and market positioning.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent engagement, site visits, and follow-ups.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote the property and increase brand visibility.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring alignment with hotel standards and revenue objectives.

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Provide coaching and training to enhance the team's skills in negotiation, prospecting, and closing deals.

Work cross-functionally with catering, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of client events and programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the hotel industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel sales systems (Delphi, CI/TY, or similar) and CRM platforms.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Familiarity with the Dallas market and corporate travel landscape is a plus.
