Room Attendants ensure that standards of cleanliness are upheld to the highest degree for our guests and provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service within established time limitations.
What you will be doing
Room Attendant Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests and responding to queries.
- Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap.
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Vacuuming carpets.
- Dusting and polishing furniture.
- Emptying trash containers and ashtrays.
- Restocking beverages and food items in the minibar.
- Cleaning public areas, such as corridors.
- Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs.
- Updating the status of guest rooms on the assignment sheet.
- Returning and restocking cleaning cart at shift end.
- Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of guest bathrooms.
- Daily changing of soiled linens on beds and remaking beds following the property standards.
- Thorough cleanliness of rooms, balconies, and room furnishings.
- Constant awareness of safety hazards (i.e., broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons) and report to the Floor Supervisor or the Housekeeping Office.
- Strict follow-through on lost and found procedures.
- Practice safety standards at all times.
Room Attendant Requirements:
- Cleaning experience preferred.
- Neat, pleasant personality.
- Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Previous guest service and/or housekeeping experience.
- Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
- Physical mobility and stamina.
- Ability to follow instructions.

- Perform other related duties as requested by floor Supervisor or Management
