The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Global Sales Manager to join our team at the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. As a Global Sales Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of sales programs and strategies designed to increase incremental ticket and group sales. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $43,888 – $48,300 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Manage and develop relationships with contracted reseller clients, focusing on ticket sales in international markets such as Canada and Germany, as well as the domestic and international youth and student group markets
  • Oversee sales efforts for account categories, including the International Receptive and FIT markets, ensuring effective partnerships and integration of KSCVC into travel itineraries, packages, and programs
  • Participate in trade shows, sales presentations, training sessions, familiarization tours, and site inspections, while creating follow-up proposals and agreements
  • Ensure proper visibility in business-to-business clients printed and digital marketing materials, monitor competitive initiatives, and assist in the development of sales kits and marketing collateral
  • Support marketing events and other projects as needed, collaborating with management to meet strategic goals and maintain high standards in promotional efforts

More about you

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, sales, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales related field
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills required
  • Must be proficient with standard office equipment as well as in word processing and spreadsheets
  • Must be flexible in a rapidly changing environment and able to handle multiple projects
