Description

Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and the sister property Waldorf Astoria Orlando are looking for an Engineer to join their dynamic Property Operations team! This one-of-a-kind property boasts 12 different dining options, over 1000 guest rooms, 231,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, with 3 ballrooms, 34 meeting rooms, 2 dedicated boardrooms, and unique outdoor spaces.

The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of hotel maintenance experience, has a strong customer service background with excellent multitasking skills. Experience within a fast-paced environment is highly preferred. We are looking for someone with a great personality who is ready to assist our guests and team members with anything that may arise.

Shift Pattern: AM and PM shifts, starting as early as 7.30AM and ending as late as midnight, with weekends and holidays availability required.

Pay Rate: $20.80 per hour

As an Engineer, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas
  • Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
  • Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry
  • Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
  • Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
