Director of Engineering

The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton, Seattle Airport-Southcenter, a 219 room all suite property located in the heart of the Southcenter area and just steps from the Westfield Shopping Mall, is currently seeking a Director of Engineering.

**PREVIOUS DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE IN A HOTEL ENVIRONMENT IS REQUIRED.  APPLICANTS WITHOUT PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

*Salary range: $82k - $92k.  This position has bonus potential.

What you will be doing

Primary functions include, but are not limited to:

•Operate, repair, and maintain all equipment, including, but not limited to; all pumps, boilers, motors, chillers, electrical systems, refrigeration systems, lighting, appliances and lock and key systems.

•Responsible for oversight of preventative maintenance program in our guest rooms, kitchen and meeting space.

•Maintain accurate documentation of equipment tests, i.e. fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, etc.

•Will participate in the interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling and coaching of Maintenance Engineers.

•Will partner with external contracted companies to assure quality and timeliness of work.

•Maintains appropriate supply of materials and equipment to carry out the normal day to day operating and maintenance requirements of the hotel.

•Maintains a well-defined and organized system within the Engineering shop for inventory, maintenance and storage of all tools, products, materials and equipment.
