Housekeeping Trainee

Description

As a Housekeeping trainee, you'll be responsible for helping manage the housekeeping office to provide a great experience for guests and members. It will also be required to receive all incoming calls and manage guest requests. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

o Help manage the cleaning office.

o Receive all incoming calls and respond accordingly.

o Assign rooms and task lists to team members.

o Ensure that keys are issued in accordance with security procedures.

o Record and store all lost items after each shift; send lost property to guests according to procedures

o Manage guest requests and inquiries immediately.

o Ensure that all relevant guest information is communicated to the housekeeping staff.

o Support in carrying out administrative and IT tasks.

o Support for the organization and control of extra tasks and special tasks.

o Report all necessary maintenance daily and record all work.

o Liaise with the front desk and guest service to ensure that all information is communicated efficiently and quickly.

o Ensure that communication has been clear and consistent in all shifts.

o Support for the control of dry cleaning and guest laundry personnel.

o Support for updating the system periodically to provide maximum room performance to the hotel's active inventory.
