Banquet Bartender

The famous Caribe Hilton is looking for their next On-Call Banquet Bartender.

The Caribe Hilton has welcomed guests since 1949 and has 17 acres of tropical landscaping, nine restaurants, island-inspired rooms, spa, and oceanfront pool complex, all right on the beach.

In this position you need to have full availability to work any shift, am, pm or overnight. We are searching for a team player and someone who is customer service driven to provide a high qualify of service to our guests. You will spend most of your time on the floor with the team working in a high volume environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Bartender experience and be bilingual. Union experience is a plus!

Shift Pattern: Full Availability. Rotating shifts throughout the week and weekends.  Work on Holidays.

What will I be doing?

A Banquet Bartender will be responsible for engaging our guests during their Banquet Event receiving/serving orders and ensuring brand service standards are met to the highest quality. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner
• Create and serve a range of beverages including classic cocktails, mixers, beer, wine and soft drinks in conjunction with liscesing / liquor regulations for residents and non-residents
• Take food orders and assist the floor team with deliveries as required
• Understand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities
• Keep your service area clean, tidy, and well-prepared
• Efficiently manage the proper settlement of all customer accounts
• Answer guest queries in a polite and helpful manner

A Banquet Bartender serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behavior, skills, and values that follow:

• Bartender Certification 
• Previous experience within a cocktail bar environment required. 
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry and or working banquet functions events, preferred.
• The ability to create classic cocktails
• Flexibility in hours as you will be working rostered shifts, based on Banquet Functions, including on weekends and holidays
• Bilingual:  English & Spanish
• Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills
• Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations
• Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
