The Opportunity
The Property Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing and operating both residential and commercial properties. This role is integral to ensure efficient property operations, maintaining tenant relations, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and managing financial and leasing documentation.
What You Get to Do
- Assist with leasing processes for both residential and commercial properties, including organizing showings, processing applications, preparing lease agreements, and handling renewals and terminations.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities by liaising with maintenance staff, external contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Manage tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and prompt resolution of issues.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure properties comply with applicable safety standards and property conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date property records, including tenant files, lease documents, financial accounts, and inspection reports.
- Support the preparation of property budgets and financial reports, monitor expenses, and track rental payments.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations concerning residential and commercial real estate.
- Oversee relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring services such as cleaning, security, and landscaping are executed according to the property’s needs.
- Perform other assigned duties related to this role, contributing to the overall success of the department.

What Qualifies You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years proven experience in property management, ideally across both residential and commercial sectors.
- High proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, capable of managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills, with a capacity to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
