Compensation: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, Temps plein
The Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center is a 4-Star Full Service 451-room Hotel with 30,000 square feet of conference space, and we are currently recruiting dynamite individuals in our evening culinary department.  We are conveniently located within the Hampden South neighborhood @ I-25 and 225 in the tech center.  Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401-K, Room discounts, Free Meals, Free Parking, and a great working environment.

What you will be doing

  • Assist Banquets manager and F&B Managers in the operation of the coffee shop and restaurant.
  • Help with training and supervising outlet staff.
  • Organizing and conducting pre-shift and departmental meetings, communicating pertinent information to the staff, such as house count, daily specials, promotions, and menu changes.
  • Meet and greet guests as they arrive, escort them to their table, and present menus.
  • Answer telephones in a clear voice, coordinate and document reservations.
  • Maintain communication with all departments and attend relevant meetings. Participate in marketing efforts of restaurants, assist in creating menus, survey competition and report food trends.
  • Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction in restaurants. Ensure that food quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications. Interact with guests to obtain feedback on the quality of service and food in an outlet.
  • Support the entire Food and Beverage operation including supervising other areas if necessary, handling special projects, running promotions, handling public relations, and marketing.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Previous supervisor experience preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of food outlet operations including foods, supervisory aspects, service techniques, and guest interaction.
  • Knowledge of all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
