Shashi Group, LLC is currently looking for a General Manager to join our team. As a General Manager, you'll be responsible for providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous and professional manner. To perform this job successfully, the employee will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently, with or without reasonable accommodation.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate the operation of each individual department and special projects, and identify problems and solutions.
  • Lead, coach and guide the Executive Committee and Management Team.
  • Interview, hire, supervise and counsel department managers in the efficient operation of their respective area(s). Meet with, develop and delegate improvement plans for operation and review performance of management team.
  • Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and approve discipline and all terminations.
  • Participate in community affairs and maintain positive public image for Shashi Group and the hotel. Meet with potential and current clients and promote hotel.
  • Monthly forecasting of operating staff and cost expenditures
  • Business planning in line with forecasted sales and costs, including guidance to department heads
  • Monthly P&L review to keep cost and expenses in line

Who you are:

  • Driven by creating excellent guest experiences
  • Proven Hospitality leader with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Leader in sales generation
  • Proficient with Google Docs, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred;
  • 5 years of experience in progressively more complex leadership roles;
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication;
  • Able to read, interpret, and communicate detailed quantitative data;
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial calculations;
  • Previous hotel management experience required;
  • Marriott experience preferred.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
