The Westin Dallas Park Central has an immediate opening for an energetic, experienced and motivated individual to join our Sales Team to fill the position of Senior Sales Manager.

    Here is what you will be doing each day:

    As our Business transient Sales Manager, you will be responsible for effectively soliciting and securing new business travel and leisure travel accounts and strengthening the relationships and production of existing business travel accounts. You will work closely with the Director of Sales and the Revenue Management team to negotiate pricing and optimize production to positively impact hotel revenues.

    You have a passion for hotel sales and the hospitality industry. You enjoy interacting with clients and our guests. You take pride in building and developing relationships through proactive account solicitation and responsive sales opportunities. You have at least two years of experience in Sales in the hospitality industry. Marriott brand knowledge and prior experience as a Senior Sales Manager preferred.

    Tasks/Duties:

    • Clear understanding of the hotels business strategies then set SMART action plans to meet those goals. Updating action plans and financial objectives quarterly.
    • Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
    • Targeting key accounts potential for the company.
    • Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals for clients. Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients Internally promote Crescent programs.
    • Represent Hotels in various events and exhibition.
    • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, trade shows, etc.
    • Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
    • Closely following up on all business leads within a 24hour response timeline to clients. Able to provide Quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the properties, develop professional long-term business relationships.
    • Develop strong relationships with on property operations team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.
    • Attending all department and hotel meetings as necessary. Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to the
    • Assist Director of Sales & Marketing with preparation of computerized annual Sales & Marketing Plan and execute plans outlined, critically examining and adjusting as deemed necessary by current market conditions.
    • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
    • Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
    • Be the "role model" of the ideal sales executive for the team. Assist with building and maintaining, “High performing” sales organization.
    • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
