The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
- Plan and present bar menu.
- Check customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
- Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to maintain a positive guest experience.
- Anticipate guest needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
- Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer.
- Follow operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide quality beverages consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proven working experience as a bartender.
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Computer literacy.
- Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
- Relevant training certificate.
Physical Demands
- Position requires standing and walking for long periods of time and performing physical duties including lifting.
- Occasional twisting, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Frequent talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.
