In this role: 

As our Chief Engineer, your mission is to ensure the overall maintenance and upkeep of our hotel, oversee all maintenance projects, and ensure that preventative maintenance is carried out accurately and on time. You’ll lead and direct all maintenance staff, delegate tasks and work closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure a smooth operation.

Requirements:

• 3 to 4 years of Engineering Management experience in a luxury brand hotel is ideal
• Bilingual speaking is a plus 
• Must have any government required licenses, certificates or permits
• High School Diploma or equivalent – Bachelor’s Degree or Technical School experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to repair and maintain various pieces of building and grounds equipment – ability to train others in the same repairing
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment and various tools
• Have excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
