The Senior Sales Manager Group/Transient position acts as the liaison for corporate group sales and transient business. Responsible for maintaining existing business, soliciting new business, and market analysis to maximize revenues. This individual solicits through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques. Most important duties include generating revenue, establishing new accounts, identifying competitor set strengths, developing strategies to best capture available market share, monitoring transient production and pricing, booking meeting/event space, maintaining repeat business, conducting sales presentations, sales calls, site tours, all while keeping quality consistently high. Contracts and closes group/transient business. Verifies business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for quality service delivery. Achieves revenue goals by actively up-selling each business opportunity to maximize revenue. Provides period reporting to analyze market booking patterns and trends. Drive customer loyalty by excellence throughout each customer experience. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order.
