The Hilton Austin Convention Centeris looking for their next Laundry Attendant to join the Housekeeping Team! The Hilton Austin is located across the street from the Austin Convention Center, in the heart of the Downtown Business and Entertainment Districts. 

The ideal candidate will possess a great approach to teamwork and the physical work that this role requires, a genuine passion for hospitality

and have the full availability to work the ever-changing schedule of hospitality. Previous laundry experience is a plus but not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to begin their hospitality career.

Shift Pattern: AM and MID shifts, starting as early as 8AM and ending as late as 8-9PM, with weekends and holidays required. 

Pay Rate: $18.13 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Laundry Attendant, you would be responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Perform all stages of linen processing, including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing and delivering
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area
• Maintain stock levels
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Perform additional laundry services, as needed
