We are hiring a Sales Manager!

Being the Sales Manager at a Concord Hospitality property means you hold an important key to the hotel’s success. You will develop and foster hotel business through direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, and tours of the hotel for both guest rooms and event space. This role will focus on the "SMERF" market.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and performance of sales activities in the SMERF (Social, Military, Education, Religion, Fraternal) Market
  • A huge emphasis on wedding room blocks
  • Book social events in the meeting space with 11 guest rooms or more
  • Experience with and the ability to grow the tour and travel market
  • At least two years of hotel experience in SMERF market preferred
  • Able to travel and attend trade shows
  • License to drive and make sales appointments
  • Develop and execute Sales Action plans
  • Assist Director of Sales with projects and or assigned accounts to maximize revenues
  • Prepare proposals and contracts
  • Solicit, negotiate and book new & repeated groups, by using social media, outside calls and telemarketing.
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Experience with Delphi FDI a plus
  • Excellent time- management skills and ability to delegate and handle multiple priorities
  • Exhibit creative problem solving and strategizing
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Define company brand through events
  • Ensure staff is adequately prepared and informed for event.
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to self-teach
  • Must have the ability to work cohesively with Sales team and communicate new processes and keep everyone informed and updated
