The Communications and Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all internal and external communications and marketing initiatives. This role will require a blend of strategic communication, project management, vendor management, and operational oversight. The individual in this role will ensure that the company's communications and marketing strategies are effectively implemented and that internal departments are supported in their outreach needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications:

  • Develop and maintain action plans for internal and external communication strategies, including goals, desired outcomes, and timelines.
  • Collaborate across departments to support communication systems, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Manage corporate communications, including the company newsletter, website, social media, and public relations.
  • Draft key messaging, Q&A, one-pagers, talking points, and other communication materials for organizational changes and initiatives and monitor their effectiveness through data and reporting.
  • Develop centralized systems for file storage and document organization.
  • Establish, educate, and maintain communications standards across the organization for both office and field-based employees.

Marketing:

  • Manage third-party marketing vendors to ensure marketing strategies and content align with company goals and timelines.
  • Conduct pricing research and support in strategy implementation, in collaboration with external partners.
  • Communicate upcoming marketing initiatives, LTOs, and promotional campaigns to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership with data-driven insights on marketing and local sales performance.
  • Manage the enforcement of POP standards and oversee the execution of local store marketing (LSM) efforts.
  • Assist in creating a comprehensive playbook for recurring events and promotions to ensure efficient future replication.
  • Grow and manage the company’s digital footprint, including promotional campaigns and partnerships with delivery platforms.
  • Plan and coordinate execution of company sponsored team building and community engagement events.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in marketing operations and communications, with vendor management expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, social media management, and design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Public speaking ability and experience presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to fast-paced, evolving environments.
