Restaurant Server Assistants maintain a steady flow and ease in the guest service process. Providing support for all front-of-house restaurant functions. Server Assistants must be highly attentive, responsive, and focused on ensuring complete guest satisfaction. The primary responsibility of a Server Assistant is to accurately and expediently clear and clean tables, deliver food and beverages, and maintain excellent communication with guests, peers, and supervisors.
What you’ll be doing…
- Prepare the restaurant for service by cleaning guest and service spaces and stocking essential supplies for ease of use.
- Clear, clean, and set tables according to restaurant standard.
- As guests are seated, promptly offer water according to restaurant standard.
- Proactively communicate special needs or requests and take ownership to resolve guest challenges, working collaboratively with the restaurant team.
- Maintain cleanliness of restaurant spaces throughout and after shift, completing side work and stocking as needed or assigned.
- Maintain working knowledge of restaurant and bar offerings to support guest inquiry.
- Always maintain professionalism consistent with restaurant and company expectations.
- Know and communicate restaurant emergency procedures by informing and assisting guests in emergencies.
- Take on additional tasks as necessary or assigned by restaurant leadership.

- Utilize effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Speak, read, and write in primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Stand and walk constantly throughout the workday.
- Lift, lower, and maneuver up to 30 pounds frequently.
- Reach, bend, stoop, and pivot frequently throughout the shift.
