The Ideal Candidate for this Position

We are seeking a customer friendly individual to join out team in the capacity of a Banquet Houseperson. Job duties include set up, maintain and break down function room and other banquet areas to ensure guest satisfaction and a safe work environment.  Keep all banquet areas clean and dust free.

Job Requirements

• Responsible for set up of function rooms 
• Must be able to read and understand diagrams for set up specifications. 
• Must be able to work efficiently, stay organized, and complete tasks that are time sensitive
• Must be able to lift, push, + pull up to 50 lbs.
• Clean and refresh all function rooms throughout the day.
• Clean all rooms at the conclusion of the function, including removing water service, trash and any equipment no longer needed.
• Maintain all banquet space including foyers, meeting rooms, work areas and storage areas to be neat and clean.
• Vacuum, dust and sanitize all banquet areas on a regular basis.
• Complete projects assigned by the Banquet Manager.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, late nights, weekends and holidays.  
• You must be able to pass a thorough background check.
• Previous hotel experience preferred, but not required
