The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment and systems within the hotel. This includes but is not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. The Maintenance Engineer will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed, as well as responding to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance engineering, with experience in a hotel or similar environment. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills are also essential, as the Maintenance Engineer will be interacting with guests, staff, and vendors on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all equipment and systems within the hotel
• Respond to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure that all equipment and systems are functioning properly at all times
• Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and vendors
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
• Assist with the implementation of new equipment and systems as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a hotel or similar environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
