Housekeeping Supervisor

Who you will be working for:

Our Town Hospitality is looking for a qualified candidate to join the team as the Housekeeping Supervisor at Hyatt Centric Arlington. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible to assure the completion of housekeeping tasks assigned to Room Attendants and Housepersons to maintain Our Town Hospitality's and Hyatt standards of cleanliness and customer service. The below is a summary of the essential job functions:

What you will be doing:

• Supervise the performance and cleaning standards of assigned housekeepers/housepersons/laundry attendant
• Assist with Housekeeping duties as needed.
• Daily room inspections
• Complete morning assignments for housekeepers and housepersons.
• Prioritize and direct work of staff.
• Responsible for the training of employees.
• Update room statuses throughout the day on the hotel computer system.
• Responsible for the care and cleanliness of all areas of responsibility.
• Report deficiencies and maintenance requirements.
• Maintain schedule of all weekly/monthly special projects.
• Perform other related duties as requested by Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager.
• Assist all other departments as needed to ensure the success of the overall operation of the property.
• Any other reasonable tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable and familiar with all housekeeping areas and duties,
• 1 year experience as inspector or supervisor, Hospitality preferred
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to train and mentor staff.
• Strong communication skills written and oral. Spanish speaking is a plus
• Ability to lift, pull and push 50lbs
• Flexible schedule
