Essential Job Description:  Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

• Escorts incoming hotel guests to rooms, assists with hand luggage, and offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
• Explains features of room such as operation of radio, television, and night lock, and how to place telephone calls.
• Locates guests in lobby, dining room, or other parts of hotel.
• Delivers messages and runs errands.
• Calls taxi for guests.
• Keeps record of calls for service.
• Delivers packages & suitcases.
• Tidies lobby and front entrance.
• Transport guests safely to and from the property, carefully handling luggage.
• Assist guest with storage and retrieving their luggage from the van.
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner.
• Inform supervisor of any unusual situations or accidents immediately.
• Respond with helpful info about getting around and offer suggestions for local events and activities.
• Comply with all traffic safety rules and regulations.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle daily for cleaning and safety issues.
• Must have State of Illinois driving license and good driving record.
