Job Summary

The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. The Front Desk Supervisor will also be responsible for managing and training front desk staff, scheduling shifts, and handling guest complaints and issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service
  • Manage and train front desk staff, scheduling shifts and ensuring adequate coverage
  • Handle guest complaints and issues, resolving them in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, including check-ins, check-outs, and billing
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including occupancy rates, revenue, and expenses
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve guest service and streamline operations
  • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure that guest needs are met
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
