Line Cook

As a line cook, you will be executing multiple tickets throughout the shift with focus on preparation and plate presentation.

Requirements:

• Ideal candidates will have varied experience with traditional line cooking stations (grill, saute, pantry and fryer) with high volume dinner experience.
• Prefer a minimum of two (2) years of line cook experience in an upscale restaurant
• Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
• Candidate must have good knife skills and be able to work safely, efficiently, clean, organized, with great attention to detail and strong production skills
• Reliable, with a sense of pride and ownership for your work
• Willing, and with a positive attitude, to follow direction of all management, including additional requests for teamwork support
• Must be able to stand or walk for an entire eight-hour shift.
• Requires mobility and prolonged standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs
