Housekeeping Assistant Inspector / Housekeeping

The ideal candidate for this position:

The ideal candidate for this position should be extremely detail oriented. Have at least one year of housekeeping and supervisory experience. Dedicated and ready for a new challenge daily. The candidate should also be quick on their feet and able to think creatively to ensure each suite meets Hilton Standards.

What you will be doing:                                                

• Assign general cleans and quarterly projects. Record assigned items on project chart.                 
• Check with the front desk for rollaway/crib requests. Place items in rooms that are blocked.                 
• Greet Housekeepers as they arrive. Ensure required uniform is worn.             
• Ensure all keys have been signed out.       
• Run a Newly Vacated/Arrived Rooms report and update Housekeepers.          
• Hold a morning meeting. Record items discussed and any comments by Housekeepers. Review with management.
• Run a Housekeeping Report and an Off-Market Rooms Report.
• Log all lost and found items daily and store in appropriate location.
• Keep communication lines open with maintenance chief. Support MC by understanding issues in his/her department and knowing all facts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen rooms, laundry areas, lost and found, storage rooms, employee break room, and the work room.
• Other assignments given by GM/AGM.
