***The location for this position is at our corporate office in Memphis, TN***

As the HAFS Compliance Sr. Analyst you will monitor compliance with control standards for HAFS Record to Report (RTR) and Revenue Accounting (RA) teams as we maintain the control environment. You will support initiatives for optimizing control effectiveness, process consistency, and improvement opportunities for Record to Report (RTR) and Revenue Accounting (RA) teams.

 More specifically, you will:

  • Perform control testing for RTR/RA balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
  • Prepare monthly compliance reporting and reviews with users & leadership team
  • Analyze data to produce useful recommendations to enhance controls
  • Build dashboards for compliance using multiple data sources
  • Create/maintain standard operating procedures and training materials related to control execution
  • Support the Compliance Team SOX and SOC 1 testing processes
  • Collaborate with team members on process and control issues and opportunities

Requirements

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • You will analyze performance data and make conclusions
  • You will design models and dashboards to allow readers to quickly understand the performance
  • You will use your judgment to identify challenges and suggest solutions

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Hilton Accounting & Finance Services locations in Memphis, London, Glasgow, and Hyderabad
  • Blackline and Peoplesoft Performance & Governance teams

What deliverables you will take ownership of: 

  • Blackline Reconciliation Certification Logs and analysis
  • Follow-up communications with reconciliation preparers and approvers

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years in audit, accounting, or internal controls
  • Proficiency with Data Analysis Tools
  • Work a hybrid work schedule with 2 days onsite in our Memphis, TN office and 3 days working from home

It would be useful if you have:

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
  • Hospitality industry experience
