One year related experience and/or training. Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Must have strong Excel spreadsheet experience. Use computer functions such as complex spreadsheets, statistical analysis, and data base searches to create and keep software slot matrix current and functional. Must be able to operate a computer proficiently. Must be accomplished in Microsoft programs including, but not limited to Excel, Access, Outlook and Word.
Must be able to learn other software programs required by the department. Type and/or enter data at a speed necessary for successful job performance. The technology or knowledgebase is constantly changing, influenced by competing technologies on going and substantial change in the methods used and knowledge required in the job. Continuous effort is required to keep knowledge and skills up to date. Must be able to work independently and multitask in a fast paced environment. Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of departmental program structure (mission, goals, and objectives), department policies and procedures.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
