Delaware North is hiring a Systems Architect to join our team in Buffalo, New York. As a Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining emerging capabilities for reliable, scalable, global systems infrastructure that meet business and application needs, security policies, and best practices. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $95900 - $129400 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities 

  • Create architecture designs that communicate changes within our application, information, and technology architectures in support of business outcome
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of organizational standards covering business, application, information, and technology capabilities and services
  • Work as an extension of architecture governance, ensuring solutions and vendor packages align to organizational technology standards, as well as contribute to managing and adding to our reference architecture repository
  • Partner with project managers to break down solution designs into executable tasks
  • Contribute to function-level metrics and performance measures

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in information management, computer science, computer systems engineering, mathematics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering role with progressive responsibility including cloud architectures and on-premises technologies 
  • ITIL, Microsoft 365, and AWS certifications are preferred 
  • Strong hands-on technical knowledge of server and PC operating systems, including Windows and Linux Patch Management 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, Intune, Exchange, DNS, Group Policy, and managing Microsoft 365 administrative tools 
  • Experience in change management, project budget development, documentation, and process building 
  • Skilled in automation technologies like PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation 
  • Experience with virtualization such as VMWare, Hyper-V, and cropolis, and hyperconverged technologies. 
  • Knowledgeable in cloud computing such as AWS EC2, IAM, and CLI, recent technologies such as Docker, and Kubernetes, and managing DNS, certificates, backups, and data lifecycle
