What you will be doing
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and fun environment for guests at the pool and beach areas. This opportunity requires working outside at all times in our outdoor recreation areas. Responsibilities include, but a not limited to; Greeting guests and attending to their pool and beach-related needs including, but not limited to, getting fresh towels, relocating chairs and/or umbrellas, and issuing recreational and water sports equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the pool, beach, and marina areas and equipment including; furniture, tables, decks, pool tiles, shower tiles, slide tiles, cabanas, umbrellas, pool restrooms, speakers, rafts, pool toys, etc. Collect and replenish pool towels and monitor inventory to minimize loss. Perform general exterior cleaning and maintenance duties, as needed, based on weather conditions and resort occupancy levels.
Requirements
Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills with some guest service experience preferred. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: working outdoors, regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the work area, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling, frequently working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred, not required.
One to three months related experience and/or training.
