Under the supervision of the Director of Finance (DOF) or designee the Director of Purchasing is responsible for ensuring that the property has the goods and services it needs when it needs them at a reasonable cost and that these goods and services are procured in accordance with all appropriate purchasing practices as outlined by Management. This role will provide daily management and supervision of purchasing operations ensuring performance indicators are met appropriate and consistent interpretation of compliance with policies and procedures. Oral and written instructions are received from the Director of Finance (DOF) or designee but this individual will oversee all procurement functions of the property including the planning research communication personnel supervision record-keeping contracted services management and other related activities.
Front Desk Agents are responsible for greeting and registering the guest providing outstanding guest service during their stay and settling the guest's account upon completion of their stay. Primary responsibilities include: registering guests making and modifying reservations hotel operator and concierge duties. Providing attentive courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Assist Director of Sales Sales Managers and Catering Manager in obtaining customer satisfaction by performing clerical and administrative duties relating to guest and hotel communications through the sales team as well as light selling duties to small groups and functions. The focus of sales may vary based on the respective property the associate is assigned to (i.e. Leisure, Business Travel, Group, SMERF). The Food & Beverage Director is responsible for assuring attentive, friendly, courteous and efficient service in all F&B Outlets (Restaurant, Room Service, Lounge, Market and Banquets) while maintaining adherence to budgeted payroll and overhead cost. He/she is also responsible for continually working towards improving Restaurant, Room Service, Lounge, Market and Banquet sales revenues to meet or exceed budget. The Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for directing and organizing the activities of the Food and Beverage Department to ensure a consistently high-quality food product while at the same time developing his/her team and driving a positive work environment. In addition, this position is charged with consistently improving guest and employee satisfaction. The incumbent in this role may function in the role of a Chef, as required.
