The Sales Coordinator implements all sales activities in his / her area of responsibility, under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales, in coordination with the Commercial Manager or Commercial Director.

What will I be doing?

As the Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Complete the relevant Hilton University courses promptly and pass the tests. Prepare proposal letter based on the clients’ requirements, ensures 8 hours response time or not more than 24 hours based on the department SOP. That includes sending contracts to client and follow-up promptly. Responsible for the promotion and sales of all products of the hotel, including but not limited to rooms, catering, banquets, etc. Understand client needs through telephone sales, face-to-face visits and other forms. Maintain accuracy of all reservations and other data in Delphi System including booking of rooms, banquet venues and outlets. To monitor or trace on daily basis of all reservation made in the Delphi System, i.e. prospect, waitlist, etc to maintain forecast accuracy.  Be familiar with hotel product knowledge and related activities. Support account manager for Walk-in and Customer Journey (site inspection) with clients around the hotel. Establish a good relationship with clients, maintaining the update of information and promptly report client needs and feedback to the hotel. Recommend other hotel chains within the group to clients. Responsible for internal communication such as departmental briefings, liaison with other departments and team member relations. Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, and team members. Attend daily departmental briefings and discussions. Conscientiously perform assigned tasks and special tasks assigned by Director of Sales (DOS) / Commercial Manager (CM) or Commercial Director (CD) The department reserves the right to change or supplement the job description if necessary.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

A Sales Coordinator serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

University graduate. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity with international chain hotels. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (optional) to meet business needs. Good communication and presentation skills. Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods. Have hotel working experience and is a good team player. Very familiar with local market and good at marketing trend analysis.
