Description
The HVAC / Maintenance Engineer will perform general maintenance work throughout the hotel, with an intense focus on HVAC units & program.
Some essential job functions of this position are:
Perform preventative maintenance & take calls relating to HVAC throughout the building. Complete work orders to maintain the units and keep the product quality standard.
Perform preventative maintenance & take calls relating to general maintenance issues (replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl etc.) to maintain the hotel and keep the product quality standard.
Perform Room preventative maintenance as needed.
Assist in checking electrical systems (including HVAC) and make minor repairs and / or replacement.
Maintain the building exterior and "curb appeal" (e.g. snow removal, lawn care, painting & gardening).
Respond in a courteous manner to all internal & external guest questions, complaints, and / or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction.
This position may have exposure to extreme conditions and will operate heavy machinery.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular, flexible basis.
