Formerly the Aquila Court Building, built by Chester Cook in 1923, The Magnolia Hotel in Omaha, Nebraska resides near many of downtown's finest attractions, including The historic Old Market, the Orpheum Theatre, Omaha Children's Museum, Holland Performing Arts Center, Joslyn Art Museum, and the Qwest Center Omaha. Named to the National Register of Historic places in 1974, Magnolia Hotel, Omaha is also located near all major corporate headquarters and offices in downtown.
Based on the Bargello, a palace in Florence, Italy, the corporate lodging hotel was built in homage to Chester's father Aquila. The faces of George and Aquila Cook can still be seen on the front of the boutique hotel's building today.
