We are a small Bed and Breakfast in the Heart of Morrison with 8 Lodges in all of which have an outdoor or indoor hot tub. 

We have playful, eclectic atmosphere and a joy first culture. This culture is congruent with our neighbor Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

We are seeking people with flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. Your hours will vary depending on occupancy. Hospitality experience preferred. Hospitality education is also acceptable. As a small family run business the GM is required to embrace a crossover between roles We all help with daily operations and a willingness to perform the roles of staff is required.

Tasks include:

-Staffing: Scheduling interviews & making hiring decisions w/ owner

-Training new hires: Initial training of general knowledge of property, then scheduling training for specific department and those unique tasks.

- Setting the staff schedule

- Submitting payroll

- Managing Cash flow under a Profit First® Structure 

- Paying monthly bills, checking mail, voicemail , and email for new customer inquiries

- Organizing the office and keeping track of cash box

-Overseeing completion of daily tasks in each department and assisting with daily operations when necessary

-Promoting business through social media

-Acting as the main contact for events/group bookings, which requires sales skills

-Inventory Tracking and Ordering

-Booking events and guests with exceptional  customer service

- *Main Focus is Property Management and Head of Operations.

At Cliff House Lodge we have implemented systems for every department that the GM must know. These systems have simplified your role as GM. You will be free to iterate on these systems to eliminate inefficiencies and augment these systems efficacy.

After Onboarding:

You will undergo a shadow period after GM training from our previous General Manager. You will shadow our top employees to understand the specific systems for each division. This understanding will give visibility into our Key Performance Metrics and the ideal execution of our refined systems.

Compensation:

Starting salary is 50k with bonuses based on performance. There is room for growth in compensation and plentiful opportunity for tips from events.
