One of the most historic hotels in cityHilton Boston Park Plaza is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to join their fantastic team! This 1060 room property has a premier Back Bay location just steps away from the Boston Common and the Public Garden and a half-mile from Beacon Hill and the Theater District are within a half-mile.

A Banquet Houseperson is responsible for supporting Food and Beverage operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while ensuring cleanliness of all areas and maintaining equipment. 

The ideal candidate will hold comparable experience in customer service and have full availability to work the ever changing schedule of hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to begin their hospitality career.

Shift Pattern: AM, PM and Overnights, weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay Rate: $28.20 per hour

What will I be doing? 

As a Banquet Houseperson, you are responsible for supporting Food and Beverage operations to deliver an excellent

 Guest and Member experience. A Houseperson will also be required to ensure cleanliness of all areas and maintain

 equipment. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 

- Maintain cleanliness of Food and Beverage areas 

- Ensure equipment is in full working order and report any defects 

- Project a professional manner to guests and team members 

- Assist back of house team when requested 

- Assist with set ups to ensure department runs efficiently 

- Manage the mis-en-place relating to Food and Beverage functions and special menus in a timely manner 

- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation 

- Attend training provided by the hotel
