What will you be doing?
The Casual Commis Chef role will be primarily working afternoons/evenings 2-3 days a week. You will utilise your creative flair and passion for food and will be responsible for performing the following tasks;
- Working effectively within the Kitchen team to ensure high food standards and the delivery of an exceptional guest experience
- Managing and maintaining a clean working environment
- Ensuring the reduction of food wastage
- Assisting the team with general food preparation
- Ensuring correct handling and storage of all food products
Requirements
What are we looking for?
- Previous Apprentice chef or Commis chef experience
- Experience with al la carte and banquets
- Confident communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
- Excellent planning, organising and time management skills
- Ability to work within a team
