Company Description

Texas Western Hospitality, and managing partner Western International, own and operate forty-one select service, full service and extended stay hotels all carrying Marriott and Hilton flags. We currently operate hotels throughout Texas, Arizona, Montana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Oklahoma. We have several properties under construction which will open in the near future.

Assistant General Managers on the Texas Western team have the responsibility for running hotel operations and accountability for the property results. Our Assistant General Managers are expected to be entrepreneurial, self starters that thrive on achieving results well above that of the competition.

Favorite part of the job: Sounds cliché, but I love people. I've always been (sometimes to my wife's irritation) the friendliest person in the room.

Reason I work at TWH: Anyone who has spent any amount of time around Marriott and the development of their brands knows who Gene Carter is. The chance to work with Mr. Carter was something I just could not pass up.

Favorite TWH moment: I have had so many great moments, but I think my favorite ones are opening new hotels. There's just something about growing the economy, adding jobs and grabbing market share.
