The Blossom Attendant & Cashier partners with all team members from the front of house to the back of house to create a hospitable and cohesive environment for customers and associates alike. The Blossom Attendant & Cashier is a hands-on customer facing and back of house role. You create exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships both internally and externally. Your role is vital, as you are typically the first person to interact with all guests. You are responsible for driving retail sales, possessing brand knowledge of all retail products and menu items, efficiently and effectively check out guests and handle all guests needs. Additionally you will clean tables and surface areas between guests, re-fill food supplies: coffee station, napkin dispenser, etc. You will also assist with unpacking, steaming, prepping and processing all retail items.   Responsible for processing all guest check-ins/check-outs, confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed. Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest. Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.

• Senior Employee Relations Manager (Human Resources)

  As a member of the Human Resources staff, he/she will work with the Corporate Director of Human Resources to carry out employee relations matters at the different entities along with ensuring compliance. The Senior Employee Relations Manager will be involved in company-wide Employee Relations such as investigations, complaints, disciplinary actions, suspensions and terminations. This role will in addition monitor/ensure compliance with all local/state/federal mandated reports.

• Rooftop Bar (RISE) (Food & Beverage)

  OVERVIEW: The Westin Anaheim Resort’s Roof Top Bartender represents the heart of one the resort’s main attraction, and by this the rooftop bartender will have a magnetic and charismatic personality that encases the ultimate bar experience by preparing beverages with a mixologist approach for guests and serving them at the bar and/or through the wait staff. The roof top bartender maintains a clean and organized work environment.

• Rooms Controller (Rooms Division)

  Assign room according to guest request and preferences whenever possible. Pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets. Organize and coordinate check-in/pre-registration procedures for arriving groups. Review/Track/Accommodate requests for room/check-out changes when possible; communicate status to appropriate staff. Confirm reservations and cancellations. Review out-of-order rooms daily. Ensure rates match market codes and document exceptions. Verify and adjust billing for guests. File guest paperwork or documentation. Set up/process all guest check-ins/check-outs. Activate room keys. Secure valid payment. Identify any over-commitments. Perform duplicate reservation checks; block rooms. Run daily reports. Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction. Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly.

• Service Express Agent (Overnight) (Guest Services)

  Responsible for telephone switchboard station in order to answer telephone calls. Process guest requests for wake-up calls, screening calls, room service orders and other requests related to placing or receiving telephone calls. Advise guest of any messages (e.g., voicemail, mail, faxes) received for them, and send to room if required. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns. Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly. Log all guest requests or issues into computer, contact appropriate individual or department (e.g. Bellperson, Housekeeping, Engineering, Room Service, Valet), and follow up with guest to ensure their request has been met to their satisfaction. Provide information to guests about room features, property amenities, and local areas of interest. Assist guests with accessing the internet. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.

Seat guests in the dining and bar areas while ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff. Ensures that the guests are seated and attend to any questions that they may have. A Host will be an operator and possess skillful organizational skills to maintain the dining area well controlled, answer phones, and reservations in a prompt and professional manner as well as direct calls when applicable.
