• Overnight Manager (Rooms Division)

  Overnight Manager is responsible for ensuring that all daily reports are generated, daily revenues are balanced, express checkouts are processed efficiently and guests needing assistance during the shift are accommodated. The Night Manager will provide the management team with accurate and reliable information needed to make effective operational decisions. Ensures guest and employee satisfaction and maximizes the financial performance of the department

  OVERVIEW: As a Westin Anaheim Resort’s Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for exceeding guests expectations by being the face of the outlet and creating the first impressions by providing them with friendly, prompt and attentive service that is tailored to the customer’s preference. Seat guests in the dining and bar areas while ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff. Ensures that the guests are seated and attend to any questions that they may have. A Host will be an operator and possess skillful organizational skills to maintain the dining area well controlled, answer phones, and reservations in a prompt and professional manner as well as direct calls when applicable.

• Barback - Bar 1030 (Food & Beverage)

  OVERVIEW: The Westin Anaheim Resort’s Lobby Barback perform tasks to support the Bartender and other staff members. They help with opening and closing duties, prepare and serve drinks, stock items, assist in the reordering process.

• Host / Hostess - Tangerine (Food & Beverage)

  OVERVIEW: Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner.  Demonstrates a professional, friendly, warm and welcoming demeanor to all guests and employees.

• Cook 2 (Chefs/Kitchen)

  OVERVIEW: The Westin Cook 2 is responsible for the daily mis en place of his or her station, adhering to recipe cards and ensuring the standards of quality are being met. Must be proficient in all cooking techniques. Must prepare for all banquet events as needed and execute in a timely fashion if in the kitchen. Must prepare and execute all menu items for their station if in an outlet according to the recipe cards to ensure that quality standards are being met.

• Pastry Cook 2 (Chefs/Kitchen)

  OVERVIEW:  The Pastry cook is responsible for all dessert preparation in the pastry kitchen which may include, desserts, baked goods, cakes, cookies, ice cream, chocolates etc. The Pastry Cook is responsible for desserts needed for banquets, special events and all restaurants

  Responsible for assigning work and ensuring the completion of daily tasks in Front Desk operations in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Position directs and works with managers and employees to carry out procedures ensuring an efficient check-in and checkout process.   Th Events Manager is dedicated to providing exemplary service in order to create lasting and favorable memories. This position ensures the complete coordination of all events, meetings and conventions hosted in the hotel. Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with Sales, property departments and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout the pre-event, event and post-event phases of property functions, while promoting the company’s core service standards and brand attributes; supports the company’s sustainability initiatives and platform; and manages the operations by maintaining a positive,forward-thinking, and safe environment.

If in an outlet must follow all recipe cards to ensure quality and consistency.

• Overnight Service Express Agent (Guest Services)

  Responsible for telephone switchboard station in order to answer telephone calls. Process guest requests for wake-up calls, screening calls, room service orders and other requests related to placing or receiving telephone calls. Advise guest of any messages (e.g., voicemail, mail, faxes) received for them, and send to room if required. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns. Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly. Log all guest requests or issues into computer, contact appropriate individual or department (e.g. Bellperson, Housekeeping, Engineering, Room Service, Valet), and follow up with guest to ensure their request has been met to their satisfaction. Provide information to guests about room features, property amenities, and local areas of interest. Assist guests with accessing the internet. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.

• Rooms Controller (Rooms Division)

  Assign room according to guest request and preferences whenever possible. Pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets. Organize and coordinate check-in/pre-registration procedures for arriving groups. Review/Track/Accommodate requests for room/check-out changes when possible; communicate status to appropriate staff. Confirm reservations and cancellations. Review out-of-order rooms daily. Ensure rates match market codes and document exceptions. Verify and adjust billing for guests. File guest paperwork or documentation. Set up/process all guest check-ins/check-outs. Activate room keys. Secure valid payment. Identify any over-commitments. Perform duplicate reservation checks; block rooms. Run daily reports. Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction. Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly.
