About the Role: The employee must be able to perform a wide variety of general maintenance tasks that one would find in a home environment.  The employee should be able to work with little supervision and be able to plan and complete projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

1.         Responsible for general maintenance and safe operations of pools/spas/whirlpools.

2.         Responsible for keeping the pools clean and chemicals in a well-maintained balance.

3.         Responsible for preventative maintenance work on pools, motors/pumps, and related.

            Equipment, along with all safety equipment.

4.         Must help with maintenance whenever possible (i.e. refrigeration, carpentry, electrical, etc.).

5.         Complete essential paperwork to track repairs.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, REQUIREMENTS

1.         Employee must supply own hand tools and tool pouch with good quality tools.

2.         Must be able to communicate in a polite business-like manner.

3.         Handwriting skills must be readable and adequate to complete copies of maintenance requests.

4.        Mathematical skills should be adequate to complete any repairs.  Calculations for quantities (ph. levels, alkaline, water balancing, ect.) will be needed to properly plan, finish, and justify the payment of completed work.

5.         Must be able to identify a problem and effect a repair of the situation.

6.         Must possess excellent driving skills in both automatic and standard transmissions.

7.         Candidates for employment in certain positions that involve the operation of a company vehicle will be given a pre-employed drug screen and will be subject to re-testing at any time.

8.         Must have basic computer skills to send reports, read emails, troubleshoot for solutions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

1.         High School diploma or GED.

2.         Vocational technical training or one-year equivalent experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess a valid Missouri driver’s license.

Must possess proper operating permits for golf carts, fork trucks, power lifts and similar powered equipment.

Must be able to obtain CPO operators certification if required.
