Job Description

Responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC equipment. The HVAC Technician role is dedicated to proactively embracing service standards, adhering to safety regulations, and gaining the knowledge to assist the team with any need.

This position will be based out of Maple Hall - Omni Hotels & Resorts Corporate Office in Dallas, TX.

This is a Monday - Friday position!

Responsibilities

  • Technician will be responsible for but, not limited to maintaining all HVAC equipment in the building (AHU’s, VAV’s, FPB’s, WSHP’s, Split Systems, Pumps)
  • Maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain ice machines.
  • Have a thorough understanding of OSHA rules and regulations.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
  • Completion of all assigned work orders and daily tasks.
  • Assist mechanics and external contractors with repairs of building property and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of all HVAC supplies.
  • Maintain accurate refrigerant logs.
  • Assist with daily readings and logs.
  • Schedule and complete equipment preventive maintenance (PM’s)
  • Be a team player and assist the rest of team as needed.
  • Work on other equipment as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be EPA Universal certified.
  • Commercial kitchen equipment and commercial refrigeration experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in written form, in English.
  • Good communication, attention to detail, time management, and guest satisfaction skills are required.
  • Walking, stooping, standing, bending and sitting; possibly for more than 1 hour.
  • The ability to utilize step stools and ladders.
  • Interior of building in normal office conditions.
  • Exterior of building with exposure to weather conditions.
  • Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.
  • Exposure to high and low voltage electricity.
