The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Restaurant Cashiers to join our team at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. As a Restaurant Cashier, you will facilitate all transactions using acceptable methods of payment of the restaurant, collaborate with dining staff, and keep track of all orders while providing excellent guest service at all times.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesnt include any potential tipped earnings.

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with dining room, service, and kitchen staff to keep track of all orders and monetary situations, and charges.
  • Validate methods of payment, complete transactions, provide documentation and receipts, and dispense the accurate amount of change if needed.
  • Pour beer for guests and follow all proper alcohol guidelines
  • Help hand out food and drink orders
  • Clean up checkout area and keep organized; keep receipt paper and other stationery stocked.
  • Answer customers’ questions and find a manager if the answer doesn’t solve the issue.

More about you

  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Basic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance bank.
  • No high school diploma or GED required

Delaware North has provided a full breadth of services – including concessions, suites, catering, premium dining and retail management – at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers, since the park opened in 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 1.7 million-square-foot ballpark, which seats 40,300 at full capacity, hosted the 2020 National League Division Series, National League Championship Series and the 2020 World Series to limited-capacity crowds.
