What will I be doing?

As Catering Sales Manager at Hilton Atlanta & Towers, you will lead the development of market segments, build new customer relationships, and negotiate contracts to secure business. You will creatively design menus and events to drive revenue while delivering memorable guest experiences. Maintaining strong relationships with corporate and social accounts, you will oversee event logistics, ensuring flawless execution and serving as the primary contact for clients.

Your essential functions will include:

  • Organizing, planning, and prioritizing duties to achieve business goals.
  • Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of event systems, products, and processes.
  • Resolving conflicts and negotiating effectively to address client concerns.
  • Selling and influencing both internal and external stakeholders to achieve revenue goals.
  • Analyzing challenges and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ensuring high-quality service through team collaboration, guidance, and feedback.
  • Participating in client site inspections and assisting with the sales process as needed.
  • Regular attendance and other duties as required based on business needs.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  •     Minimum Years of Experience: one (1) year Hospitality related experience at manager level. 
  • It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  •     Knowledge of the hotel property management systems (Delphi.fdc)
  •     Relevant degree, in business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution (CMP, CPCE)
