Barback

Position Summary:

As a Barback, you play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of our bar. Your dedication to ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized contributes to a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages to guests.
• Restock bar supplies, including glassware, liquor, garnishes, and condiments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including clearing and cleaning tables.
• Prepare and replenish garnishes, fruits, and other bar ingredients.
• Ensure the bar area is stocked with clean towels and cleaning supplies.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of bar equipment.
• Retrieve and deliver orders from the kitchen to the bar.
• Assist in monitoring guest alcohol consumption and prevent overindulgence.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste following proper procedures.
• Attend to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with bartenders to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions as needed.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks as requested.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous barback or hospitality experience is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and kegs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Basic knowledge of bar equipment and beverages.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
