Job Title: Mini Bar Attendant

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports To: F&B Manager

Job Summary:

The Mini Bar Attendant is responsible for providing prompt and efficient mini bar service to hotel guests. This includes stocking, organizing, and tracking inventory for in-room mini bars, ensuring accuracy in billing, and upholding high standards of cleanliness and quality control. The goal is to provide an exceptional in-room experience for guests by maintaining a well-stocked and meticulously managed mini bar service.

Responsibilities:

1. Stocking and Inventory Management
• Replenish mini bar items daily, ensuring each mini bar is stocked according to hotel standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, track items used, and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Organize and manage storage areas for mini bar supplies, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
2. Quality Control and Presentation
• Inspect mini bars regularly to ensure items are fresh, properly displayed, and meet quality standards.
• Ensure the mini bar setup is consistent and aesthetically pleasing, with clean and undamaged products.
• Remove expired or damaged items and replace them as needed.
3. Guest Service and Billing Accuracy
• Record and track all items used from the mini bars to ensure accurate billing to guest accounts.
• Respond to guest requests or complaints about the mini bar service promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to accommodate special requests or VIP setups.
4. Compliance and Safety
• Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all items, including alcohol, in compliance with local laws and hotel guidelines.
5. Additional Duties
• Assist in special projects or assignments as needed.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or customer service is preferred.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic math skills for tracking inventory and billing.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and maneuver within guest rooms and storage areas.
