Hilton Los Angeles Airport is looking for a Part-Time Overnight Valet Cashier to join the team.

Classification:  Part-Time

Schedule:  Overnight hours, Fridays and Saturdays are required

The hourly rate is $24.30 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in customer service and cash handling, preferably in a hotel or guest services environment. Must be proficient in computer operation and hold a valid driver's license.

What Will I Be Doing?

As a Valet Parking Cashier, you would be responsible for greeting guests and processing all parking transactions and associated fees in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Greet arriving and departing guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Total, process and collect payments from guests and all parking transactions to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, managing a bank, reporting discrepancies, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards, vouchers and credits
  • Operate and manage the parking booth area
  • Maintain accurate records of parking-related charges and fees including, but not limited to parking rates, validations, accrued parking time, vehicles in the hotel's care, etc.
  • Manage flow of traffic, as needed
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
