Summary:

This position is concerned with supervision and monitor the work of the room attendants assigned to the floors according to the standard set by Management

What will I be doing?

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will support the Housekeeping Department by ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire hotel. Specifically, a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

•  Allocate daily assignment to Room Attendants
• Conducts morning briefings to Room Attendants
• Check daily occupancy reports
• Reads logbooks and follow up as required
• Updates logbook and communicates important information
• Follow up on trace reports for special guests' requests, VIP rooms and carries hem out
• Inspects check out rooms before reporting them ready for sale after Room Attendants have cleaned it according to set standard.
• Daily room checking including check on occupied/long stay guests' rooms, out of order and service rooms and vacant inspected rooms
• Inspects all areas, corridors, pantries, service areas, staircases and ensure they are clean at all times
• Checks and order supplies for designated floors
• To report to Engineering of any maintenance job and follow up to ensure job is completed  
• Lead team to work thoroughly to achieve or even exceed guest expectations
• Sense of urgency to react on guest comments through online survey
• To ensure that all Lost and Found items are recorded according to procedure set

• Proficiency, preferred, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office
