Reports to: Golf Course Superintendent

Key Accountabilities: The Second Assistant/Irrigation Tech position will assist the first assistant in overseeing seasonal employees. They will help train and assist on getting the crew ready for day-to-day work.  They will oversee the running of the irrigation system and trouble shoot satellites issues that may arise.

Essential Requirements: 

-Knowledgeable in Toro sprinkler heads and Lynx software

-Modify existing irrigation system to improve coverages

-Have a good understanding of Golf and Golf Course Management practices

-Must be able to read blueprints

-Knowledge of basic electricity related to irrigation system

-Install/Repair irrigation system and sprinklers as needed

-Lead/Train seasonal crew members

-Must have people skills

-Must be problem solver

-Must be a self-starter and multitasker

-Must be prompt

-Must work early morning and weekend shifts

-Must be able to lift 50lbs

-Must be willing to work in inclement weather

Pay: $25.00 Per Hour
