Compensation: up to $18 DOE, Full-Time

The Shake Machine Technician is responsible for general cleanliness and upkeep of the shake machine in all restaurants. The Shake Machine Attendant will meet or exceed productivity and cleanliness standards, taking corrective action as needed to ensure standards are maintained. Work hours/days vary as dictated by business needs, and may include weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Shake Machine Cleanliness

  • Drain shake machine
  • Disassemble machine
  • Clean and remove buildup
  • Change wear parts as needed
  • Sanitize and rinse machine
  • reassemble
  • fill and ensure the machine is in proper working order.
  • Service as needed

Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience: Prior QSR experience or related industries preferred

Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, report or schedule form.

Other Skills & Abilities: Able to work with little or no supervision. Operate equipment safely.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequent need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, and twisting. Have frequent need to perform standing and walking activities related to duties.
  • Constant need to perform the following physical activities: writing, grasping, turning, finger dexterity.
  • Occasional need to stand for long periods of time.
  • Lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Vision requirements: constant need to view labels and small print. Frequent need to see small details and things clearly beyond arms’ reach.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the individual frequently works near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to warm, wet and/or humid conditions. The individual is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
